We translate classic Jewish mystical texts into modern, high-level English with contemporary commentary. Our aim is to help today’s Jews connect deeply with timeless Torah wisdom and make these works accessible to a global audience.
First Cornerstone
The first cornerstone is an annotated translation of Rabbi Menachem Recanati’s Torah Commentary—one of the earliest and most influential works of Kabbalistic interpretation, written in 13th-century Italy and formative for generations of seekers.
How We Work
We present Recanati in clear, faithful, elegant English, with contextual introductions and explanatory notes. This opens a new gateway to Jewish mystical wisdom for scholars, students, and communities worldwide—preserving a classic and renewing its relevance today.
